At Fortrose Academy, we believe that an effective education doesn’t just come from memorising or lecturing. Active participation in the learning process entails analyzing, discussing and collaborating - in order to comprehend and retain. All of our courses are designed to encourage deep mental processing and student engagement with the class material.

Our Learning, Teaching and Assessment Policy was developed collaboratively with staff, pupils, parents and partners. We strive to provide a high quality learning experience for all our young people, assessed using relevant and quality assessment and monitored by the provision of data.
